About The Layers I Wear

Welcome. I’m Jenna, and I’m so glad you’re here.

The Layers I Wear was born out of pain, truth, and the need to be seen. It’s a space where I share my experiences living with alopecia, ADHD, depression, and the complex beauty of being a sensitive soul in a noisy world.

For a long time, I kept these parts of me hidden—afraid of being judged, mocked, or told to “get over it.” But I’ve learned that the things we think make us broken often make us the most *whole.*

This blog is for anyone who has ever felt misunderstood, unseen, or “too much.” Here, you’ll find letters to my children, reflections on healing, stories of survival, and the small glimmers of light I’ve found in the dark.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Raw and honest stories about mental health, identity, and self-worth
  • Letters of love and lessons to my kids (and maybe yours too)
  • Encouragement for sensitive, neurodivergent, and healing hearts
  • Gentle reminders that you’re not alone

If any part of you has ever wondered “Is it just me?”—I hope this space helps you answer, *no. It’s not just you. It never was.*

Thank you for being here. You matter. Your story matters.

With love,
Jenna
